About Stephanie—

I have always had a deep love for all animals, especially the ones that other people think are ugly or gross. As a child, I was constantly picking up ants, bees, grasshoppers…you name it. That hasn’t changed at all over time, and looking for bugs is still one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy traveling to new places and hanging out with my pet lizards.

I majored in Evolution & Ecology at Ohio State University, but my career path has taken an unrelated turn for now. Art allows me to stay close to my scientific interests and study them in a different way. I started selling my work at outdoor markets in 2022, and it’s been an incredible learning experience so far.
